Graham, acknowledging his main influences in cello playing (in London and Munich) and in composing (in Cambridge and Germany) will play his "Monologue" for Cello" op. 28. He will illustrate the challenges of writing for cello and speaking voice, performing "Der Handschuh" ("The Glove"), a ballad by Schiller and "Floh-Lied", after a poem from Goethe's "Faust".
